Vi står för äkta nordisk epigenetik kunskap med kunskaps rötter angående epigenetik från Uppsala Universitet som är nordens första universitet.
Mina grundstudier är inom biomedicin från Uppsala Universitet.
Nästan i varje kurs repeterades kunskap angående epigenetik. Till min förvåning så tycks biomedicinarna vid Karolinska Institutet sakna kunskap om epigenetik såsom vi biomedicinare från Uppsala har. Detta blev jag medveten om när en doktorand med biomedicinar examen från KI inte alls hade kunskap
och förstod att om en konstrukt är metylerad så klyvs den ej. Någonting som jag hade dagligen fått kunskap om vid Uppsala Universitet. Visst finns det forskning angående epigenetik på KI men grundkunskap angående epigenetik lärs inte ut såsom det görs i Uppsala.
